In 2009 — TERI received funding from the Toyota Foundation, Japan for its activities with the Club
In 2010 — The Club has been selected as the best amongst 43 Farmers Clubs in Goa
At the time we started, there were a total of 22 members in the Club, which has now gone up to 100 members after 27 months of our existence. The Club constitutes a mix of landowners, tenants, men and women and is linked to the Central Bank, Chorao Branch which provides access to credit for our projects and experiments.
The main goals of this Club are to:
- revive agriculture in Chorao and Madel villages,
